Wow! I wish I’d had my camera ready, a blue heron just flew overhead, while I was in the back yard. That may be the coolest thing I’ve seen since moving here and I’ve seen lots of awesomeness!

I’m super sorry, but I didn’t stop to get my camera because then I would have missed it in real life, which is often exchanged these days for social media.

No, that isn’t it at the top of this page. But if you didn’t know what a great blue heron looks like in flight, now you do!

I love living in the migratory path of all these birds! ?❤️ Here’s a couple of shots of a flock of what I think were pelicans, leaving on October 8, 2018.
