Working on our 1961 ranch house in Southaven today. This floor in my old office/Clayton’s old bedroom/Ashley’s old bedroom has been setting for over 40 years, under at least two versions of ugly carpet. ?

There was some 40 year old dried paint here and there but it came up with alcohol and elbow grease! ?

ALSO: Here’s a big eff you to the carpet installer from 1998 who decided a 24” x 48” piece of carpet in the closet needed 150 staples to be secured for the ages. Must have been taking a break in there with his staple gun on auto, while resting what seems like his entire body weight on each staple!
