Seven years ago, today, was our first crawfish boil, held at our 1961 ranch house in Southaven. To date we’ve had three: the last, here in April 2019; but I am missing the OPTION to have one, now that we live in corona quarantine.

I’m a native Louisianian, so if I don’t make a trip home or have a crawfish boil, at least once a year, I start feeling out of sorts. We had everything set to go to Jazzfest in New Orleans last month, which was canceled due to Covid-19, and I’m not sure WHEN we can go back to Louisiana.. or have another crawfish boil.

So I guess I’ll enjoy these memories today, instead.
