I retired for this??? Sheesh!

The purpose of the clamps: Dustin originally wanted the double gate in the middle of the section of fence facing the street so he could get his truck and or trailer in the backyard. My buddy, Russ Battles, came over in the 95 degree heat and helped me lay it out two days ago. That evening, Dustin decided he wanted the gate at the corner.

The only way I could make the pickets work out on this most visible side of the fence, and maintain the gate post stability, was to put them both together in the hole. So I liquid nailed them together.

Overkill, but it solved my picket problem. He had the extra posts. And I’m a perfectionist….. basically.

As straight as two amateurs can get it.

Done fencing. For now.
